A Little More About Bewtsy

Hi there, here is a little more about Bewtsy.

Here at Bewtsy we love all things creative, from crochet, to pottery, to jewellery making, and everything in-between. This is why we decided to create Bewtsy – The online marketplace that lets its users buy and sell handmade, up cycled, and vintage items and gifts.

So what will it cost you?

If you follow us on social media, you’ll probably already know that unlike most other online marketplaces, we are free.

This means that creating an account and opening up your shop doesn’t cost anything. It also means that you can set up your shop and advertise up to 114 of your items for free.

Even when it comes to selling your items you might expect us to take a cut of the profit like most other sites. However we take no commission for any items sold by our shop owners, meaning the seller will receive all of the commission, minus standard PayPal fees.

We use PayPal as the standard method of payment to ensure secure payments.

So how does Bewtsy make money?

So what’s in it for us, besides getting our fix of creativity?

We have been asked what the catch is and how we plan on making any money from a free website, and the answer lies in our resources.

As Bewtsy is free to use, we encourage all of our users to share their own resources with us, so that we can add them to our site.

By this we mean, any equipment and supplies that you use to make your creative items.

We then ask that you purchase your resources through us (at the same price) using our resources section Here

For every item purchased through the links in our site, Bewtsy receives a small commission.

As well as our resources section, we also have a donations page where, if you’re feeling generous, you can donate towards the site.

Any and all donations will then be used for maintenance of the site.

And thats it. No hidden costs or nasty surprises. Just a passion for creation and everything that comes with it.

We hope you found this helpful and we look forward to you joining our community.

If you have any questions, we are always here to help.
